Father Melvin Mensah was born and raised in Accra, Ghana in West Africa. He received a Diploma in Theology from the University of Ghana, Legon and a Bachelor’s degree in Sacred Theology from the Pontifical Urban University in Rome.
Fr. Melvin joined St. Raymond Parish in September 2021. Prior to coming here, he served at St. Peter Claver Parish, St. John the Evangelist Parish and most recently, St. Dominic Savio Parish, all located in Accra.
In his role as parochial vicar at St. Raymond’s, Fr. Melvin assists Fr. Cruz with the celebration of the Masses and the sacraments for the parish. He is also helping to prepare St. Raymond Elementary School’s Middle School students to receive the sacraments.
