Parochial VicarFather Luis Silva Cervantes was born and raised in Guadalajara, Mexico. He received a B.S. in Philosophy from Seminario de Señor San José in Guadalajara and a Bachelor’s degree in Sacred Theology from the University of St. Thomas Aquinas in Rome. Fr. Luis also received a Master’s degree in Theology from St. Joseph’s Seminary.
In his role as parochial vicar at St. Raymond’s, Fr. Luis assists Fr. Cruz with the celebration of the Masses and the sacraments for the parish. He is also the chaplain for St. Raymond High School for Boys.
St. Raymond Parish is Fr. Luis’s first assignment. He was ordained in 2020 and joined St. Raymond in July of that year.
