St. Raymond Parish provides ample opportunities for faith formation, both for children and for adults.
Faith Formation for Children and Young Adults
Education in the Catholic faith and formation of faithful Catholics are integral to the missions of our three schools, St. Raymond Elementary School, St. Raymond Academy for Girls and St. Raymond High School for Boys. Children and young adults from 3 through 18 years old receive daily religious instruction as part of a larger goal of Catholic faith formation. Baptized Catholics can receive the sacraments of Reconciliation, First Communion and Confirmation.
Teenagers at least 14 years old and young adults attending our schools who are not Catholic can begin instruction. and then can make their First Penance, First Communion and Confirmation.
Children who are not attending Catholic school can enroll in our Religious Education Program to be instructed in the Catholic faith beginning in 1st Grade and continuing through 12th Grade. For further information about our Religious Education Program, click on the Religious Education tab on the left.
Faith Formation for Adults
Faith formation for adults is provided for current Catholics who want to deepen their faith, for non-Catholics interested in becoming Catholic and for those who were baptized Catholic but never received additional religious instruction and the sacraments of Penance, First Communion and Confirmation. Click on Adult Faith Formation on the left for current Catholics. Click on Becoming Catholic for non-Catholics and those Catholics whose religious instruction ended with their Baptism.
