Holy Baptism is the basis of the whole Christian life, the gateway to life in the Spirit, and the door which gives access to the other sacraments. Through Baptism we are freed from sin and reborn as sons of God; we become members of Christ, are incorporated into the Church and made sharers in her mission: "Baptism is the sacrament of regeneration through water in the word (CCC 1213).
Baptisms are held by appointment only. Parents seeking to baptize their children must contact one of the parish priests.
Parents and godparents must attend a baptismal class before the child can be baptized.
An English baptismal class is held one a month at 1:30 p.m. on a Sunday. English baptisms are held once a month at 1:30 p.m. on a Sunday.
A Spanish baptismal class is held one a month at 1:30 p.m. on a Sunday. Spanish baptisms are held once a month at 1:30 p.m. on a Sunday.
